About Montgomery Magazine

Montgomery Magazine is a bimonthly and full-color, glossy lifestyle magazine that celebrates the diversity and unique character of Montgomery County, Maryland. Features and departments in each issue offer readers infotainment: profiles of celebrities and other well-known county residents, local resources, the arts, dining, local history, great getaways in and around the county, and tips for improving health, decorating, landscaping, personal finances and more.

Soly Romero, publisher, started the magazine in 2005 as Montgomery County InSight. Richard Zdanis, Soly’s husband, has been marketing coordinator for the magazine since its beginning, and he is now vice president. Pamela Schipper, managing editor, has been with the magazine since 2009. Dawn Winter-Haines is the original designer, and she has recently rejoined the staff of Montgomery Magazine. Cathy Weber and Jared Hodges are account executives.
